Adelbert’s, Auctions, and Football

We’re getting a late start on September, but we’re making up for lost time with our new Brewery of the Month: Adelbert’s. This Austin brewery is one of our favorites, and we’re excited to offer a special on their six packs all month long. Pick up their Buzzbait Blonde, Hibiscus Saison, Lemon Rye, Mango Wit, and Naked Nun for $6.99 all September. Hot damn!

And you may have heard, but football season is upon us. This fooz-ball is kind of a big deal, and while this author still believes baseball is our national pastime, football swings the big stick. So drop by the Mueller location every Sunday, where we’ll have football playing on all TV screens, and Happy Hour prices whenever a game is on. Yes, that means Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night. If it’s the NFL, then it’s happy hour at WhichCraft. You’re welcome.

While you’re at it, make sure to reserve your spot for our third Style Night with the Beer Museum. We’ve done SMaSH IPAs, Berliner Weisses, and for our third installment, we tackle the timely Oktoberfest. Prost, y’all! On Tuesday, September 19th, Certified Cicerone Lindsay Compton will walk you through five different samples of this traditional German style, explaining the ingredients used, the beer’s history, and the similarities and differences between the beers. Tickets for the 6:30 and 8:00 sessions are found at the links. Reserve your spot now (Lederhosen not included).

Finally, since relief efforts will take longer than one weekend, or even one month, WhichCraft is continuing our food and supply drive to help those affected. Bring in any non-perishable food items or toiletries or bottled water to either location and we’ll make sure it gets in the hands of those who need it. And as we hinted last week, we have an event planned for you to join in the help. On Friday, September 15, from 5-8pm at the Mueller location, we’ll be running a silent auction and raffle along with a tasting event starring Houston’s own Saint Arnold Brewing, and all proceeds from the silent auction and raffle will go toward the Houston Food Bank. We will also have a concurrent event running at the South Lamar location with its own unique prizes. And oh my me, the prizes you can win. Check out our Facebook page for a list of raffle and silent auction prizes, along with a list of food and items we’re looking to deliver to the people in Houston and the surrounding areas. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
