New Beers This Week

(All beer available at both WhichCraft locations unless otherwise noted)

Back in Stock: Circle Archetype IPA, Bell’s Lager of the Lakes cans, La Trappe Quad (SoLa Only), Westmalle Dubbel, Westmalle Tripel, Cigar City Guayabera, Cigar City Jai Alai,

Lakewood Sin Mint Temptress Harmonious flavors of fresh mint, vanilla, and a touch of graham cracker enhance the already rich chocolate profile of the beer. It’s delightfully sinful, pleasurably minty, and tastes kind of like a really good cookie. 9.1% ABV / Garland, TX / RateBeer 97 / Availability: Limited

Innis & Gunn Original –  For 30 days, this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand-selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavors that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun, where these natural flavors infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly-oaked palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish. 6.6% ABV / Edinburgh, Scotland / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Innis & Gunn Blood Red Sky – Jamaican rum barrels meet Scottish red beer in an explosion of cool, spicy rum notes, vanilla, and rich fruit. 6.8% ABV / Edinburgh, Scotland / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Hi Sign St. Simon BBA Doppelbock – St. Simon aged in Garrison Brothers Whiskey Barrels for 6 months. 8% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent

Bell’s Consecrator – A traditional doppelbock-style fermented with a Bohemian lager yeast. Reddish brown in color, with a mild hop profile, Consecrator is a well balanced, full bodied beer with hints of caramel and molasses in its smooth, malty finish. Brewed for a Fat Tuesday release. 8% ABV / Galesburg, MI / RateBeer 90 / Availability: Good

Elysian Dayglow – It drips with tropical, sunshiny Mosaic, and twinkles with touches of El Dorado and Centennial. A touch of wheat hazes the malt bill a bit around the edges and the IBUs are stuck in the mid-sixties. 6.5% ABV / Seattle, WA / RateBeer 96 / Availability: Decent

Boulevard Jam Band – Jam Band pours a deep ruby and opens with aromas of dark berries, melon and subtle citrus. Minimal, supporting malt sweetness provides a platform from which blueberry, red raspberry and tart cherry sing resulting in a slightly tart, easy-drinking summer beer that begs for an encore. 7% ABV / Kansas City, MO / Availability: Good

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Blackberry Porter – This is a big and dark beer with bold flavors to ease you into spring. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Blackberry Porter porter has been brewed with the official state fruit of Kentucky and aged in bourbon barrels. This spring seasonal comes out with the bold roasted malt flavors complemented by a nose of fresh blackberries. 8.3% ABV / Lexington, KY / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Real Ale Helles – German Pilsner malt gives subtle malt sweetness while Hallertau Tradition hops provide the enticing aroma of this classic style. A dry finish with moderate bitterness, makes this a true session beer. 4.8% ABV / Blanco, TX / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Stone Scorpion Bowl – They took floral and citrus notes from Mosaic, Loral and Mandarina Bavaria hops to dish up a mouthwatering fruit punch to the palate. Get deserted on your own island or share with others. One thing is for sure: there is no need to light this one. It is already on fire. 7.5% ABV / Escondido, CA / RateBeer 86 / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Lagunitas Cappuccino StoutLocally roasted coffee is paired with a large malt base for a rich & roasty finish. 9.6% ABV / Petaluma, CA / RateBeer 95 / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

New Beers on Draft at WhichCraft Taproom

Full Draft List Available on our Website

Adelbert’s Scratchin’ Hippo – Scratchin’ Hippo pours deep amber releasing a bready aroma with hints of dark fruit. Rich roasted malt with hints of caramel balance elegantly with the clean citrus bitterness and earth tones from the hops. 5.5% ABV / Austin, TX

Dinkelacker Weissbier – “Das Weizen” is a naturally-cloudy wheat beer brewed using select ingredients and based on the company’s own recipe. It is a wonderfully refreshing drink, especially for the summer. 5% ABV / Stuttgart, Germany

(512) Juicy IPA – Owen pulled out all the stops and designed another amazing IPA, carefully combining Bravo, Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, plus a couple of organic New Zealand hops to form a citrus juice and fruit explosion like nothing they’ve ever done. Organic 2-row and a touch of Crystal malt provide a light, but sturdy, backdrop for the flavors and aromas of orange, tangerine, vanilla, clean crushed citrus, stone fruit, and passionfruit. It’s still clearly an IPA with a smooth and pleasant hop bitterness that cuts the malt and hop sweetness just enough to keep you wanting more. Juicy is hazy from hops with a round mouthfeel but crisp finish. 6% ABV / Austin, TX

Last Stand Simcoe Pale Ale – Hints of grapefruit, melon, and pineapple compliment the dry finish on this pale ale. Dry hopped with Simcoe. 5.4% ABV / Austin, TX

Lakewood All Call – This clean, crisp, super-drinkable brew is perfect for any occasion that brings people together. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, an organization that provides support for the families of fallen officers and firefighters in their community. 5% ABV / Garland, TX

Austin Beerworks Gold Fist – This Belgian strong ale smells like sunshine and shines like gold whilst quietly punching you in the back of the head. 9% ABV / Austin, TX

Fairweather Cider Common – Mellow but also kind of yellow. Their Common cider is your daily driver: super dry and refreshing with a farmhouse style. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX

Community Oaked Mosaic – Community has added oak spirals – carefully-milled helixes of American oak – to their aging tanks, infusing their beloved Mosaic IPA with delicious notes of oak, honey, vanilla, and coconut while preserving the beautiful hop profile. 8.6 %ABV / Dallas, TX / RateBeer 95

Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin (Nitro) – The new ingredient is lactose, a.k.a. milk sugar. When Velvet Merlin is brewed with milk sugar to create Nitro Merlin Milk Stout, the effect is similar to adding cream to your dark roasted coffee. The result is a stout that is still dark and roasty, but now with a mellow sweetness and added roundness of body. 5.5% ABV / Paso Robles, CA / RateBeer 97

Firestone Walker Lupulin Distortion No. 009 – Revolution No. 009 is a showcase for five “public domain” hops from the United States and Germany, offering a fresh twist on some not-so-familiar favorites. The lead hops include two varieties from the Pacific Northwest – one that provides exotic tropical notes, & another that offers a balance of earthy pine and citrus qualities. The German hops round out the blend with a dimension of bright fruitiness. 5.9% ABV / Paso Robles, CA

Austin Beerworks El Sputniko – Mexican hot chocolate-inspired imperial milk stout featuring mole and ancho chile flavors. 8% ABV / Austin, TX
