WhichCraft Tap Room in Mueller is One Week Old! Advent Beer Calendars For Sale at WhichCraft Beer Store on South Lamar! Plenty of Limited Release Beers In Stock at Both Locations!

It has been one weeks since we opened the doors at WhichCraft Tap Room & Bottle Shop in the Mueller neighborhood, and the response has been unbelievable. Thank you to all those who have come out to support our new location and pick up some tasty beers/breakfast tacos. As the name suggests, the new shop features thirty rotating draft lines and an extensive selection of packaged craft beer. We are serving coffee as well, for those times when it’s too early for beer (yeah right!). Our coffee bar offers a variety of espresso drinks, pour over coffee and cold brew. These customized cases are a great way to make the holidays even more festive by surprising you with a new beer every day leading up to Christmas! Thursday, November 17th – TONIGHT!

Holly, from Real Ale Brewing Company will be joining us for a very special tasting and beer release. At the shop, we will be tasting the 19th & 20th Anniversary beer with bottles for sale. We will also have very limited edition 20th Anniversary Gift Packs that will be available for purchase via a raffle during the tasting. Gift Packs will include a bottle of 20th Anniversary Rye IPA and Barrel Aged 20th Anniversary Rye IPA.

Friday, November 18th

WhichCraft Beer Store will be hosting an exclusive tasting featuring Birrifico Del Ducato, the Italian brewery renown for its bright and inventive sour beers. We will be sampling their full assortment of delicious bottled sours.

Saturday, November 19th

12-3pm – The folks from Lakewood Brewing Company will be stopping by to pour some free samples of All Call Kolsch, Lakewood Lager and Thread Spinner Bourbon Barrel Barley wine. During the tasting, six packs of All Call Kolsch will be available for $7.99/each.

3-5pm – From right down the street, we’re hosting the folks from Uncle Billy’s Brew n’ Que for a special daytime tasting and BBQ pairing. We will be serving tasters of Lazy Day lager, Barton Springs Pale Ale and Green Room IPA alongside free samples of Uncle Billy’s delicious BBQ.

6-8pm – The good people from Sweet Water Brewing Company are joining us for a free tasting of their 420 IPA, Hash Session IPA and Festive Ale.

Monday, November 21st

Blue Owl Brewing’s own Tre will be behind the tasting bar to dish out free samples of Little Boss, Spirit Animal, Van Dayum! and Professor Black.

Wednesday, November 23rd

1-3pm – Our Good friend Mary from Saint Arnold will be stopping by to guide a free tasting of 5 O’Clock Pils, Santo, Saint Arnold Christmas Ale and Sailing Santa IPA.

Thursday, November 24th

Buffalo Bayou Gingerbread Stout – Sweet, creamy, slightly roasty stout with big nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves on the nose. Surprisingly easy-going mouthfeel. 10% ABV / Houston, TX / Ratebeer 93 / Availability: Decent

Samuel Smith’s Organic Raspberry Fruit Beer – The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. Adelbert’s Vintage Monks 2016 – Vintage Monks is a blend of our Trappist inspired ales which have spent up to two years aging in oak wine barrels. Upslope  Christmas – Celebrating the wintry nights and lights of the season, this lightly spiced English old ale is caramel colored and malty sweet. Uncle Billy’s Bedroll Hazelnut Brown – A brown British ale centered around light, caramel-centric malty notes. 7.1% ABV / Austin, TX

Pinthouse Pizza Electric Jellyfish – Brewed with some of the newest and most exciting hop varieties featuring Equinox, Calypso, Citra, and Galaxy hops, Electric Jellyfish enjoys a bright tropical citrus character along with notes of orange, lemon, lychee, and a floral backbone. The Jellyfish is a new school IPA focusing on the juicy hop flavor and aroma while keeping the bitterness balanced and refreshing. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX / Ratebeer 96

Live Oak Primus – Primus (pronounced, “pre moose”), is a dark, rich German-style Weizen beer (beer made with wheat malt) fermented with a very particular strain of brewers’ yeast that gives this beer its unique spicy and fruity character. 8% ABV / Austin, TX / Ratebeer 95
