World Cup at Mueller

The World Cup is here, halfway across the globe. This can create some issues with start times (schedule can be found here), but we at WhichCraft have you covered. During our business hours, we’ll be sure to have games on with sound, and also running a soccer special: with the purchase of two TacoDeli tacos you get free coffee (or $2.50 off an espresso drink), and we’ll have free popcorn and happy hour during games, too. Leave the vuvuzelas at home.

And keep picking up 6 packs of Hi Sign all June. We’re selling their Shamus amber, Christie blonde, and Wooderson IPA for 7.99 all month.

New Beers This Week

(All beer available at both WhichCraft locations unless otherwise noted)

Back in Stock: Sierra Nevade BFD (6pks), Brazos Valley Lefty, Cigar City Guayabera, Adelbert’s Travelin’ Man, 5 Stones Aloha Pina (4pks), New Braunfels Saison de Pasteque

Stone Idolatrous – Stone Idolatrous IPA represents the elevated state of reverence that Stone extols for the venerable and almighty Hop. El Dorado & Mosaic hops have been anointed to bestow their divine qualities on this sacred brew. 7% ABV / Escondido, CA / Availability: Good

Real Ale Lime Gose – A slightly sour wheat beer, it’s known for hints of coriander and a unique saltiness that is derived from the local water source. As a twist on the original, we add fresh lime juice to our version after fermentation. The result is a delightfully tart and refreshing beer to help you slug it out with even the hottest of Texas summers. 4.4% ABV / Blanco, TX / Availability: Good

Dogfish Head Mixed Media – The closest an ale can legally be to wine! With 51% of the fermentable sugars coming from grain and 49% coming from grapes, Mixed Media is a complex saison-esque ale brewed with a distinct Belgian yeast strain. Using a late-harvest Viognier grape must from our friends at Alexandria Nicole Cellars in Washington, you’ll find notes of white grape and melon in the aroma, and greeted with a spicy white wine body in every sip. 7.5% ABV / Milton, DE / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Great Divide Roadie – Named both for the road biking cyclist (roadie) and the German word for cycling (radler) and inspired by Great Divide’s roots in the cycling community. Brewed with natural grapefruit puree, this easy-drinking ale pours a hazy sunrise gold and is bursting with citrus aroma. Unique in its class, this Radler is refreshing and slightly tart, with just enough bitterness to keep both cyclists and spectators coming back for more. 4.2% ABV / Denver, CO / Availability: Good

Great Divide Heyday – Abundantly hopped, light in body, and low on bitterness, Heyday shines with notes of tropical fruit, berry, and melon. The complex hop profile is complemented by a crisp malt character for an approachable IPA fit for any occasion. 5% ABV / Denver, CO / Availability: Good

Deschutes The Ages – Gueze-inspired, multi-year blending shapes a wild brew brimming with fruity, spicy esters and savory, tangy pear and white pepper flavors. 8% ABV / Bend, OR / Availability: Decent

Uncultured Ales Fugarillo – Fugarillo is a light golden oak barrel aged sour beer, fermented with naturally occuring wild yeast and bacteria from the Austin area, and dry hopped with Fuggle and Amarillo hops. 7.2% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good

Uncultured Ales 100 Points – Light golden sour, oak barrel aged, refermented with sweet and tart cherries. 7.5% ABV / Austin, TX

Firestone Walker UnderCurrants – Using 12 to 36-month aged Agrestic Ale as a base, they add 1.5lbs/gal black currants, before the beer undergoes the final maturation in our French Oak “Fruiders” for an additional four months.  A convergence of supple tannin and deep purple pigments, gooseberry jam, a mouth-watering acidity and earthy leather elicit notes of a beer having vinous roots.  A new variant to one of the Barrelworks pioneers is born. Santé! 6.3% ABV / Paso Robles, CA / Availability: Limited / SoLa now, Friday at Mueller

Bell’s Sparkleberry – Sparkleberry is an American interpretation of a Belgian Tripel brewed with raspberries. Slightly tart, dry and spicy, it was originally brewed for release at Kalamazoo Pride in 2013, the same year it won a Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival. 9% ABV / Kalamazoo, MI / Availability: Decent / SoLa now, Friday at Mueller

Shacksbury Dry Rose – Vermont apples aged in Marquette grape skins. 6% ABV / Shoreham, VT / Availability: Decent

Blue Owl Hop Totem – Sour IPA. A beer that strikes a bold balance of bitterness, sweetness, and sourness; heavily hopped with Amarillo, Chinook, Citra and Galaxy hops. 6.7% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent

Uncle Billy’s Texas Ruby Red Radler – Crisp, clean, and bright with sweet grapefruit aroma. This lively carbonated, light bodied beer has a refreshingly well-balanced flavor with bready sweet malts, delicate noble hops, and bright grapefruit flavor. Highly sessionable at 3.7% ABV, it’s perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. 3.7% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good
