New Beers

Dogfish Head Rosabi – Started as a collaboration with musician Julianna Barwick, a portion of red rice from Julianna’s home state of Louisiana was used to lend a subtle red/rosé color to the beer.  The other distinctive element used was wasabi, which when combined with the color of the beer became the name of the beer – Rosabi.  It’s an imperial pale pale, which isn’t as aggressively hopped as an IPA.  8% ABV/Milton, Delaware

Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout – Anderson Valley from Boonville, CA takes Wild Turkey barrels and ages this stout for 3 months imparting flavors of vanilla, cocoa, coffee and bourbon.  This one will go quickly, come get one.  6.9% ABV/Boonville, CA

Clown Shoes Ride the Lion – Here’s the only explanation you need:  Wee Heavy (Scotch Ale) aged in Bourbon Barrels.  ‘nuff said.  11% ABV/Ipswich, MA

Etienne Dupont Reserve – A delicious cider aged in oak barrels for 6 months, without a doubt one of the premiere ciders available in TX and scores a perfect 100 on ratebeer.com.  Can be bottle aged for an additional few years to allow more interesting flavors to develop.  7.5% ABV/France

Rogness Joie D’Ete Saison – Rogness’ summer saison seasonal is back and brewed with lemon zest and lavender, finishing with a nice tart and dry flavor.  5.3% ABV/Plugerville, TX

Franconia Double IPA – This Double IPA from Franconia is a bit outside their typical styles of lagers and weizens, but it won’t disappoint.  It comes in at 8.2% ABV and bucks the summer trend of session IPAs.  Come get a fresh double today!  8.5% ABV/McKinney, TX

Oasis TX Luchesa Lager – Brand new brewery Oasis TX has a picturesque brewery setting overlooking Lake Travis, and are committed to kicking out all sessionable ABV beers.  The Luchesa Lager is a traditional unfiltered Czech-style pils that finishes clean and crisp.  4.8% ABV/Austin, TX

Oasis TX London Homesick – Stylistically considered a British Bitter or English Pub Ale, this sessionable malty goodness comes is brewed using all British malts and hops.  4.9% ABV/Austin, TX

Oasis TX Slow Ride Pale Ale – A truly Austin-licious pale ale and an homage to the greatest movie ever made in Austin, Dazed and Confused.  This is a super sessionable pale ale that still includes Chinook, Cascade and Columbus hops.  Party at the moon tower!  4.8% ABV/Austin, TX

Uinta Trader Session IPA – Uinta joins the session IPA game with their Trader.  Crisp, refreshing but still has the piney hop notes you expect from Uinta’s larger beers.  4% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT

Stiegl Grapefruit Radler – Finally in stock thanks to numerous customer requests!  The original Radler, from Stiegl brewery in Austria.  You can’t get much more sessionable than this 2.5% ABV grapefruit-spiked wheat beer.  Comes in 4 pack cans so you can take it wherever you go!  2.5% ABV/Austria.

Odell Double Pilsner – Why the heck not??  You like German style pilsners, so why not up the ante with an 8.1% ABV behemoth out of Odell, who doesn’t make any bad beer?  You know you want to try it.  8.1% ABV/Fort Collins, CO
