New and Returning Beers This Week
Hitachino Yuzu Lager – Hitachino Lager with added Yuzu fruit juice. The yuzu juice is very aromatic on the nose and works very well with the hop blend and comes off distinctly Japanese. The soft water & traditional Hitachino malty body are also fully present giving a really nice balance and mouthfeel. 5.5% ABV
Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Doppelbock – While for the classic “Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier” traditionally beech has been – and still is – used, the malt for “Schlenkerla Oak Smoke” is kilned with Oak wood. The resulting Schlenkerla Oak Smoke Malt has a smoother and more multi layered smoky note than the intensely aromatic Beech Smoke Malt. The hence complex smokiness in the “Schlenkerla Oak Smoke” is paired with the multifaceted bitterness of finest Hallertau aroma hops. 8% ABV
Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen 500mL – Bamberg’s speciality, a dark, bottom fermented smokebeer, brewed with Original Schlenkerla Smokemalt from the Schlenkerla maltings and tapped according to old tradition directly from the gravity-fed oakwood cask in the historical brewery tavern. 5.1% ABV

Ommegang Bourbon Barrel Aged Adoration – Brewed with roasted specialty malts and a robust blend of spices, then aged in bourbon barrels for at least six months, Bourbon Barrel Adoration celebrates the Belgian tradition of spiced Noël ales.
