Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower…

As a many generation Texan myself, I know one can often be at loss spot the seasons changing in this state… but I have most certainly been enjoying these cooler nights. There’s a  returned joy in yard work and gained appreciation of losing my summer time glisten on evening walks. I’m hoping this fall will function as a seasonal redux of what spring could have been. Those night time hours are especially enjoyable under the twinkle of the lights in our beer garden. Come find out for yourself and see what magic you can recapture with a beverage in hand.

Can you believe, that just since last week, we’ve got 10 new beer for you on draft??? We really do care about y’all. There’s everything from sours, stouts, lagers, and IPAs. An option to make everyone happy undoubtedly. Untitled Art sent a pretty solid shipment this week. Make sure you check those options down below. It’s a must have during the Fall festival season. Don’t miss it before it disappears in a puff of smoke.

Bordatto Etxaldea Basa Juan Cider – Basa Jaun is a lightly sparkling natural cider produced with a blend of 19 different organic, heirloom apple varieties grown on their land and indigenous to the French Basque region in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. Basa Jaun, named for the “wild man” of Basque mythology, is a hearty, acidic cider with the complexity associated with grape wine. It is bottled before alcoholic fermentation is complete, finishing its fermentation in bottle, lending Basa Juan it’s characteristic pétillance.  Basa Jaun is delicious when young, but is best appreciated after a few years of bottle aging, having the ability to improve in bottle for five or more years. As the primary notes from the fruit drop out, the ciders become more vinous, with complex aromatics and pronounced tannins that leave one reaching, inevitably, to descriptors more often associated with fine wines.

2015 was a warm vintage and early harvest in Southern France, which benefited native apple varieties with high natural acidity to develop full and complex fruit and aromatic profiles. It was a good vintage for producing ciders built to age. 6% ABV

Trabanco Poma Áurea Sparkling Cider – Poma Áurea is a totally natural cider, a brut nature in which both carbon dioxide and sugar are endogenous, i.e. the result of the fermentation process itself. In the mouth it runs smoothly, leaving a very harmonious and quite dry memory, with notes of wood. 6.5% ABV

Wölffer Estate Red Cider – Our Wölffer No. 139 Ciders evoke the style, sophistication, and spirit of summer in the Hamptons. Made to round out our No. 139 Cider portfolio and inspired by our elegant red wines, this Red Cider is lightly sparkling and beautifully aromatic. 6.9% ABV

Wölffer Estate Rosé Cider – Our Wölffer No. 139 Ciders evoke the style, sophistication, and spirit of summer in the Hamptons. Our Dry Rosé Cider uses a variety of dessert apples and a dash of organic extract to achieve the beautiful blush color and to balance the subtle sweetness. A vibrant yet casual beverage that perfectly bridges the gap between beer and wine. 6.9% ABV

New Draft Beers This Week

(On-Premise Consumption or Off-Premise Crowlers)

Austin Beerworks Super Awesome Helles A super clean, super easy to drink, super sessionable, super hard to make lager. It takes us 8 weeks to ferment this special beer because there is absolutely nothing to hide behind. While most Germans would tell you Helles means light or bright — we know the true translation is “Hell! Those bearded Americans just out-brewed us!” 4.5% ABV

Einstok Icelandic White AlePure Icelandic glacier water and a classic witbier recipe combine to create our Icelandic White Ale. Crafted clean and crisp, the balanced addition of orange peel, coriander, and rolled oats ensure this beer remains incredibly flavorful and refreshingly drinkable. 5.2% ABV

Roughhouse Honey CrumbFarmhouse ale brewed with locally baked rye bread and TX wildflower honey. Crisp, dry and malty! 4.5%ABV

Lakewood Punkel – Is there a better fall treat than pumpkin pie? Nope, which is why there are so many pumpkin beers out there. It’s also why ours is based on the dessert, not the gourd. Their twist: Punkel has no pumpkin. It’s a dark, malty German lager but with a lighter body enhanced by cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger. Because who doesn’t like a little trick with their treat? It’s the perfect session beer for those fleeting cool Texas days spent watching the grackles fly south to their favorite grocery store parking lot. 5.5% ABV

903 Space WranglerDouble Dry Hopped IPA. 7.3% ABV

903 Snoball StoutStout with coconut, vanilla, chocolate and marshmallow. 7.5% ABV

St. Elmo Winona IPLWeyerman Rye Malt – Loral Lupulin Powder + Ahtanum + Equanot Lupulin Powder + Cascade + Lager Yeast + Time = a Crisp, dry, hoppy glass of deliciousness. 6.6%ABV

(512) Larry Mango IPALarry the IPA was created in homage to a longtime friend and contributor to our success. Larry (the man) is more than just a contractor, he’s part of the team and part of the family. Yes, like any smart friend of the brewery, he shows up to drink beer with us often, but he also shows up to work events without being asked and will lend a hand no matter the task. He’s from that generation of people who help when they see the chance. Larry was one of our first “converts” from American light lager to IPA, so it only seems fitting to name our newest creation after one of our IPA’s biggest fans and one of our dearest friends. Take a moment to meet Larry. With loads of character and a fruity, citrusy hop punch that stands solidly on a gentle malt foundation, Larry the IPA is both sturdy and light, refreshing and satisfyingly hoppy. Hops: Loral, Simcoe, Cascade & Citra. Featuring mango! 5.6%ABV

Zilker Fruit FestWe’re talking all kinds of fruit here – our newest sour is packed with dragon fruit, passion fruit, orange, pink guava and pineapple. Aka POG juice with a tropical twist! Fruit Fest is pleasantly sweet, balanced by a spritzy tart sourness, wrapped up with a puckering clean finish. Enjoy! 8.5%ABV
