New Beers This Week

Southern Tier Pumking–As always, Southern Tier delivers an explosion of flavor with this autumn seasonal, starring fresh pureed pumpkin. Like liquid pumpkin pie. Oh my! 8.6% ABV/Lakewood, NY

Mikkeller Alive–Another creative concoction from Mikkeller, this Belgian Strong Ale showcases a healthy dose of Brett, giving it a delicate tartness. 8% ABV/Copenhagen, Denmark

Mikkeler Frelser–A unique Doppelbock with notes of rum, dark fruits, and subtle smoke. In Danish, “frelser” means “savior”, a little nod to Salvator, inventor of the style. 11% ABV/Copenhagen, Denmark

To Øl Frontier–A continually hopped Belgian Ale re-fermented with a healthy dose of Brett for a pleasing tartness. Sweet and citrusy. 7% ABV/Copenhagen, Denmark

Slaapmutske Organic Tripel Nightcap–With hints of spice and stone fruits, Organic Nightcap follows the same recipe as their renowned Tripel, but with 100% organic ingredients. 8.1% ABV/Hijfte, Belgium

Stevens Point Whole Hog Pumpkin* – Ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. Handcrafed using real pumpkin and savory pumpkin pie spices and hints of all natural cinnamon and nutmeg. Perle hops balance with rich Munich, Roasted, and Caramel malts for the full-bodied taste and exceptional flavor.  7.5% ABV/Stevens Point, WI   *Arriving Friday

Ska Estival Cream Stout–This milk stout was brewed with orange blossom honey and aged on sweet orange peels. It’s the beer equivalent of those chocolate oranges we all remember as the best fad of the late 90s. 5.8% ABV/Durango, CO

Brooklyn Oktoberfest–Kudos to Brooklyn for brewing up another delightfully traditional German-style beer with all German ingredients. This amber lager is malty and bready with a brisk, spicy hoppiness.  5.5% ABV/Brooklyn, NY

Sierra Nevada Flipside Red IPA–Citra, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give a tropical lift to the rich malt backbone of this beer, brewed to pair perfectly with the first last days of summer. 6.2% ABV/Chico, CA

Founders Dissenter IPL--The latest installment in the Founders Backstage Series, and a perfect 100 on Beer Advocate, this Imperial Pale Lager is the only lager in their current lineup. With a crisp finish and no ale yeast to contend with, the hops are allowed to truly shine. 8.7% ABV/Grand Rapids, MI

New Belgium Tour de Fall–A fall seasonal from New Belgium that is gradually “touring” the nation. A deep amber Pale Ale with floral, piney hops and a rich malt background. 6% ABV/Fort Collins, CO

Independence Power & Light Pale Ale–The second beer that Independence has canned, this Pale Ale is a tribute to the iconic City of Austin Power Plant. Their original Pale Ale recipe, fine-tuned. 5.5% ABV/Austin, TX

Indian Wells Lobotomy Bock* – made from five types of specialty malted barley including Munich, black patent and other premium malts. And finished with two types of hops, Sterling and Perle added at the boil and again at the finish for the perfect flavor balance.
