New and Returning Beers This Week

512 Cascabel Cream Stout – Smooth and roasty, and black as night, (512) Cascabel Cream Stout is brewed to a hair under 6% abv using almost 90% Organic Two Row and Crystal Malts, Chocolate Malt, and Roasted Barley. Non-fermentable Brewers Lactose is added for lasting sweetness, and over 20 pounds of Guajillo Chiles are added to warm you up when the night gets “chile”. 6% ABV

New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Captain Dynamite – Hazy IPA packed with tropical citrus. ABV 7.7%

Boulevard Chocolate Ale – In developing this beer, Elbow and Boulevard brewmaster Steven Pauwels sought to harmonize the interplay of chocolate and malt, with each supporting and enhancing, but not overwhelming, the other. Just the right chocolate was essential. Elbow recommended Valrhona from the Dominican Republic, prized for its robust flavor and aroma, and a personal favorite. More than a mere savoring, the chocolate — in the form of nibs, or crushed, roasted beans – was incorporated into the brewing process itself. 8.7% ABV

Spindletap Frost Bite – West Coast-style IPA brewed with Cyro Columbus, Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe. 7% ABV

Tupps Neon Shades w/ Cherries & Cacao Nibs –  A kettle sour featuring cherries, cacao nibs and lactose. 5.4% ABV

Austin Beerworks Gold Fist – A Belgian Golden Ale fermented with an old school Belgian yeast strain that produces a crazy amount of esters so it smells like sunshine. The color shines like gold. The finish is very dry like a champagne. It’s strong and delicate at the same time. While you are admiring the strong aromatics and classy finish it’s quietly punching you in the back of the head. 9%ABV

5 Stones Shepherd Boy – Pale Ale Dry Hopped with Ridiculous Amounts of Citra Hops! 6.3% ABV

5 Stones Freed from the Cave – Coffee Stout. 7.8%ABV

5 Stones Goober Edson – Simply put it’s a stout brewed with peanuts. 6.8%ABV

Modern Times Caliban – Nelson hops are super bomb. To that end, they’ll be applying them liberally—alongside some Crystal & Simcoe—to this Festivus miracle. We expect a profile replete with bright tropical fruit, berries, lemon, and crisp citrus that’s practically guaranteed to improve any holiday party it attends. 7.2% ABV

Hop & Sting Red Velvet Cookie – The second in their cookie beer series. The base beer is an English style pub ale that gives a biscuity, toffee-like base. Chocolate and other natural flavors and color are added to give mimic the look and flavor of red velvet. It is easy drinking and subtly sweet. 5% ABV

Hedgehog Florida Stanley Hazy IPA – Hazy IPA dry-hopped heavily with Sabro and Citra. It’s got strong notes of pineapple and coconut with a medium body and decent bitterness. Exceptionally drinkable. 6.4% ABV

21st Amendment Hell or High Pomegranate – Lady Liberty stands tall and regal welcoming the brisk sting of winter and its traditions, reflected in what we eat, drink and enjoy. A refreshing beer brewed with real Pomegranate juice for fruity and slightly tart notes that meld with soft malt and biscuit flavors. Perfect for a bracing winter day. 4.9%ABV

Bishop Tiger’s Blood – How do two amazing flavors become one? Sheer animal magnetism. Release your inner party animal with our perfectly tart and sweet pairing of Crackberry and toasted coconut. You’ll be winning every time. 6% ABV

Founder’s Unraveled – We unraveled some of our favorite American hops to get to the juicy goodness inside. Dry-hopped with traditional hop pellets along with lupulin powder, an innovative hop product that separates lupulin from the hop flower, Unraveled IPA is incredibly flavorful and aromatic. Wheat and oats form a smooth backdrop to carry all those wonderful hop characteristics, while the pour is beautifully clear. 6.6% ABV

Odell Wolf Picker – Know your Hop Farmer. That’s what we believe. Wolf Picker, named after the classic hop harvesting rig, celebrates our decades-long relationships with hop farmers, and our obsession with new talent in the world of experimental hops. Wolf Picker 2020 features HBC 586, an experimental hop variety that exudes bright hop flavors and aromas of mango, pineapple and orange, balanced by a mellow malt backbone and medium bodied mouthfeel. 5.5% ABV

Real Ale Crispy Business– Imperial Stout brewed with Maple Syrup and Aged on Oak. Woodsman is smooth, but loaded with rich flavor. 12.1%ABV

Texas Beer Co Strawberry Chocolate King Grackle -A strawberry chocolate stout made with SRSLY Chocolate. 8%ABV

Saint Arnold Texas Winter IPA – An American IPA brewed with Texas grapefruit, this beer features tropical and citrus notes from Galaxy, Columbus, Simcoe, and Cascade hops. A mild caramel sweetness in the malt body provides balance, but lets hops shine. 7.1%ABV

Tupps Dive Bar Brunch – Imperial stout brewed with cold brew coffee, coconut and cocoa nibs. 9.8% ABV

Brazos Valley Gringo Honeymoon – Mexican Lager 5.52%ABV

Roughhouse Ona Fashioned – Tart Farmhouse Amber Ale with sour cherries aged in whisky barrels and refermented with orange peel. A fresh take on an Old Fashioned cocktail! 8%ABV

Roughhouse Good Grief – Good Grief is a collaboration ale between Roughhouse, Jester King (Austin), Lazarus (Austin), Oddwood Ales (Austin), and True Anomaly (Houston). This sour, fruited, dark strong ale is a blended foeder beer refermented on black currants and aged in Balcones whisky barrels. A portion of each bottle sold goes to benefit the First Responders First fund to support healthcare workers! 11%ABV

Ingenious PB&J Wheat – Pale wheat conditioned on peanut butter, blueberry, and strawberry. 4.9%ABV

903 Blueberry Cake Donut Cream Ale – A cream ale with blueberry cake donuts and real blueberries. 8%ABV

Ingenious Hopwing – Juicy New England style oat cream double IPA 4x dry hopped with citra, cascade, and eureka hops. 8.2% ABV

Symbol Peace Out – Peace Out is a double hazy IPA that was dry hopped with Belma, Motueka and Pacific Sunrise hops. 8.5% ABV // 39 IBUs. Dry hopped with an astounding 4.4 pounds of hops per barrel.

NBBC Heavenescent – Heavenescent is a blend of multiple barrels of Blondine from NBBC’s cellar. Some are second use, others are fairly neutral and all blend together to create a complex sour beer. 5.5ABV
