CBS Vs. CBS. The Winner? You!

This weekend, we got a doozy of a double shot of events. First, on Friday 12/14, Founders will be here, and we’ll be tapping a certain beer you may have heard of called CBS. And not just one, but two. Two! Make sure to try pours of both the 2017 and 2018. Kegs will be tapped at 5pm, and then we’ll be selling bottles of 2018 CBS at 6pm…first come, first served.

Then on Saturday, we welcome in Celis, our Brewery of the Month, from 4-7pm to sample their Winter Lager, along with selling all of their 6pks for $7.99.

And are you looking for gift ideas for that person in your life who’s oh so hard to shop for? You know where you can never go wrong? Beer! Or coffee and tacos, we don’t discriminate. Come in today and pick up a WhichCraft gift card, or talk to one your friendly neighborhood staff members for guidance on that special bottle.

Pair with fresh oysters, crab cakes, or goat cheese. 12% ABV / Austin, TX / BeerAdvocate 83 / Availability: Decent

Texas Keeper Cider Noir – Made from 100% Northern Spy apples double fermented with extra dark Belgian candi, pecans, and orange peel. A hint of pecan and orange round out this stout cider. 10.1% ABV / Austin, TX

Vista Laissez Faire – This delicate, wine-like ale is made with 100% Texas grains, house-aged hops, and Belgian Brett yeast which produces a mild, tropical fruit aromatic profile. We aged over four month in freshly-emptied Montepulciano wine barrels, lending a pink hid and notes of pear and rose. These bottles will age well in your cellars for several years. 6.5% ABV / Driftwood, TX

The Bruery Bakery (16oz cans) – Barrel aged imperial stout blended with a pastry imperial stout with coconut and vanilla added. 13% ABV / Placentia, CA / Availability: Good (Arriving Friday)

Teddy Bear Kisses features an abundance of dark malts and high alpha hops for a powerful impact of roast, chocolate, and sweet bitterness. The lucky few who cuddle up to a warming session with Teddy Bear Kisses sense the velvety malt character, balanced bitter intensity, and soothing chocolate notes created by long aging on fair trade cocoa nibs. Teddy Bear Kisses will make you feel warm and happy inside, but it’s definitely not your childhood cuddle toy. 10.2% ABV / Bloomington, IN / Availability: Decent (Arriving Friday)

Jester King Foudreweizen – Collaboration with Live Oak Brewing Co. Foudreweizen is a farmhouse wheat beer fermented in an oak foudre.
