Get your Valentine’s Day started a little early with Hops & Grain and WhichCraft Beer Store. This Saturday from 5-8pm, drop by our South Lamar location for a special, free beer tasting and pairing event. The folks from Hops & Grain will be pouring free samples of 78702, Zoe, ALTeration, Green House, A Pale Mosaic and Porter Culture, while we serve you some hand selected cheese and candy to accent the flavors. This event is Free and open to all, but supplies may be limited so don’t delay. Remember, all Hops & Grain six packs are only $7.99 all month long at both WhichCraft locations. Are you ready for a little Broom Shtick? This Galentine’s Day (Monday, February 13th) WhichCraft Tap Room will be hosting The Coven: Women Only Stand Up & Open Mic. Come laugh it up with some of Austin’s funniest ladies. Enjoy a casual night of comedy with some beer specials to boot. The show starts at 8pm, but those looking to take the stage should show up a little early. Full details can be found on our facebook event, and remember…all jokes, NO Blokes!


Kitzia Chocolate from Mexico City has arrived in Austin! Come give them a warm welcome, by joining us at WhichCraft Beer Store on South Lamar, This Saturday from 2-4pm for a special beer and floral chocolate pairing. We will be pairing their White Chocolate with Rose, with Save the World Agnus Dei; Milk Chocolate with Geraniums & Juniper, with Epic Big Bad Baptist; and Dark Chocolate with Violets, Lakewood Raspberry Temptress. These chocolates are arriving just in time for Valentine’s, so don’t miss out. Boxes of these gourmet, floral chocolates will be available for purchase during the tasting.

All gift card ‘loyalty’ dollars in our system have been removed , and placed on traditional, plastic gift cards. 4-6pm – Join us during a special time for a Valentine’s Day, Shacksbury Cider tasting. Try some free samples of the ever popular Dry and Semi-Dry cider in cans. Plus new additions to our store: Arlo, a partial native yeast fermentation cider; Ticonderoga, a cider aged in Whistle Pig rye whiskey barrels; Basque, unfiltered, natural yeast cider; and Dorset, wild fermented cider.

Schilling cider will be behind the bar to guide a free tasting of their London Dry, Grapefruit & Chill, and Reboot Cider.

Thursday, February 16th

The local legends from Live Oak brewing will be stopping by to serve up some samples of Hefeweizen, Big Bark amber lager and Pilz. They’ll also be introducing their Live Oak Gold Pilsner, now in cans.

Funkwerks Deceit – This light-hued beer was inspired by Belgian Tripels and Golden Strong ales. A high percentage of Pilsner malt and a new yeast strain that was used present a lemon character in the aroma. This citrus quality carries into the flavor and finishes with a slight tartness.
