July Brewery of the Month

We got ourselves a new month about to turn over, which means a new Brewery of the Month. You have a few more days to pick up Hi Sign 6pks, but starting Sunday, July 1, we introduce Zilker Brewing. We’re offering their Marco IPA, Coffee Milk Stout, and Parks & Rec for $7.99. All month long.

Been watching la Copa Mundial? I know some of the start times have been a tad early (schedule can be found here), but we at WhichCraft have you covered. During our business hours, we’ll be sure to have games on with sound, and also running a soccer special: with the purchase of two TacoDeli tacos you get free coffee (or $2.50 off an espresso drink), and we’ll have free popcorn and happy hour during games, too. Leave the vuvuzelas at home.

Don’t miss Brazos Valley Friday, 6/29, at Mueller. We’ll be tapping their Double Mama – a Double Dry-Hopped version of Mama Tried, sampling their 2 Step and Millions of Peaches in cans, and offering a heck of a deal: $12 will get you a pint of Double Mama, a 6 pack (to go!) of regular Mama Tried, and a pint glass. It’s your classic Buy the Beer, Keep the Glass and 6pk (or, BTBKTGASP).

And keep picking up 6 packs of Hi Sign for a few more days. We’re selling their Shamus amber, Christie blonde, and Wooderson IPA for 7.99 all month.

New Beers This Week

(All beer available at both WhichCraft locations unless otherwise noted)

Back in Stock: Locust Watermelon Cider (Mueller), Great Divide Rumble Oak (Mueller), Founders Barrel Runner (Mueller), Asahi Select (SoLa), Kentucky Bourbon Ale (SoLa)

5 Stones Joyful Sol – Kolsch refermented with lemon. New Braunfels, TX / Availability: Decent

Flying Man Water Bomber – A light refreshing watermelon wheat that is extremely well balanced. 5.2% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good

Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Mixed 12pk – Hops have an extremely short harvest window—that precious time when the hops are bursting with intense aromatics. Luckily for us, harvest comes twice a year: once in each hemisphere. Sierra Nevada was able to get a variety of fresh hops from Australia and New Zealand, whose Southern Hemisphere growing season is the mirror image of ours, to star in this collection of hop-forward beers. Varied ABV / Paso Robles, CA / Availability: Limited

Delirium Deliria – Brewed by women, this heavy blonde beer has 8.5% ABV and second fermentation in the bottle. This beer has a pale blonde color and fine, white creamy and lacing foam. The aroma is very balanced, with a fruity and flowery background and a first impression of chardonnay, that further evolves to a spicy, mild hop aroma. The flavor is very balanced with fruity notes of apple and chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mildly bitter aftertaste and a wonderful, round mouth feeling with a nice evolution. 8.5% ABV / Melle, Belgium / Availability: Decent

Community Razzy Wit – Razzy begins as their World Beer Cup Gold Medal-winning Witbier, a year-round offering. After primary fermentation, they add natural raspberry puree to create a secondary fermentation. 5.5% ABV / Dallas, TX / Availability: Good

Brazos Millions of Peaches – Belgian-style Wit brewed with lots o’ peaches. 5.2% ABV / Brenham, TX / Availability: Good

Knee Deep Hop Trio – Triple IPA brewed and dry hopped with large amounts of Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo hops that delivers exploding tropical fruit and citrus aromas and flavor. Intense hop aromas that are sure to stimulate your olfactory receptors. 11.1% ABV / Auburn, CA / RateBeer 99 / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Prairie Blueberry Boyfriend – Sour ale with blueberries and lemon zest. 5.4% ABV / Tulsa, OK / Availability: Good (Friday)

Collective Brewing Project Pineapple Petite Golden Sour – Petite Golden Sour refermented with pineapple and fresh Thai basil. 4.5% ABV / Fort Worth, TX / Availability: Decent (Friday)

Anderson Valley Summer Solstice – Slightly sweet, malty session beer with a creamy mouth feel and clean finish. With hints of caramel in the nose and a touch of spice, it’s become affectionately known as “cream soda for adults”. The unique flavors and superior drinkability make for the ultimate refreshment on a hot summer day. 5% ABV / Boonville, CA / Availability: Good (Friday)

New Beers on Draft at WhichCraft Taproom

Full Draft List Available on our Website

Zilker Heavenly Daze – This heavily dry hopped IPA has loads of Mosaic Powder, Citra Hops, and Simcoe powder. This hop blend is best described Dank Citrus. 6.8% ABV / Austin, TX

Whitestone Brueggerhoff Pilsner – Bohemian or Czech-Style Pilsner brewed with 100% Blacklands malt from Leander, Texas which is just a few miles from their brewery. Spicy, floral hop character along with a delicate malt sweetness is present in the aroma. Nicely balanced bitterness paired with a well-rounded malt presence makes this a very drinkable beer. The delicate, earthy and spicy hop flavor provided by the Saaz hops adds substantial depth. 5.3% ABV / Cedar Park, TX

Pinthouse Pizza Electric Jellyfish – Brewed with some exciting hop varieties featuring Citra, Simcoe, Azacca, and Galaxy hops, Electric Jellyfish enjoys a bright tropical citrus character along with notes of orange, lemon, lychee, and a floral backbone. The Jellyfish is a hazy, new-school IPA focusing on the juicy hop flavor and aroma while keeping the bitterness balanced and refreshing. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX / RateBeer 100

Saint Arnold Icon Gold TX Wheat – The next Icon Gold is the return of a Saint Arnold classic: Texas Wheat. It is a refreshing, flavorful filtered wheat ale, perfect for a summer day. The wheat contributes a crisp flavor while maintaining a rich body. A delicate hop profile lends balance complexity, while the subtle fruitness is derived from Kölsch yeast. 4.8% ABV / Houston, TX

Pegasus City High-Point British Mild – A Light Mild style: Porch Ale. 5.2% ABV / Dallas, TX

Mikkeller Black Hole – Black Hole is what Mikkeller is all about. Daring, vulgar and extreme. From the very beginning Mikkellers goal has been to push the limit and with this warming, intense imperial stout, a new chapter in the Danish beer history has been written. The high bitterness from the hops and the sweetness from the malt and alcohol, creates a good balance which makes Black Hole an explosion of nuances, but also leaves a feeling of a perfect and complex beer – in the heavyweight category. 13.1% ABV / Copenhagen, Denmark / RateBeer 100
