KBS? CBS? CBYessss! NoBS!

We’re gearing up for a great April. While we’ll miss Independence as our Brewery of the Month, especially Stash IPA, we can’t wait to bring in April’s. It’s Last Stand Brewing, and we’ll be offering Saaz Blonde and Simcoe Pale 6pks for $6.99 each, and Citra SMaSH and One Too IPA 6pks for $7.99.

And then at Mueller on Monday, April 2, we’ll be tapping kegs of two little-heard-of beers: Founders KBS and…CBS? Hmm, nope, doesn’t sound right. We’ll double check that. Either way, you should come in and try these two relatively unknown beers. We kick things off at 5pm, and we’ll also be offering their All Day IPA, too. I hope these guys make it. Check out the Event on Facebook. We’ll also be selling bottles of KBS at both locations starting at 5pm. First come, first served, no prior holds.

And as mentioned above, two days left to pick up Independence 6 packs as our Brewery of the Month: Cowboys from Helles, Power & Light, and Austin Amber will be $6.99, and Stash IPA, Liberty Lunch, and Red Bud for $7.99. We also still have 6 packs of Community Texas Helles available for just $4.99, so get in to both locations today.

New Beers This Week

(All beer available at both WhichCraft locations unless otherwise noted)

Back in Stock: Saint Arnold Bishops’ Barrel 20 (Lamar)

Stone Totalitarian Imperial Russian Stout – Built from the backbone of Stone’s classic Imperial Russian Stout, Stone Totalitarian Imperial Russian Stout certainly celebrates the hallmarks of the style – it pours jet-black with a fluffy chocolate head and tastes of deeply dark fruit flavors with rich chocolate and coffee overtones. Yet, however old world in nature, this particular rendition of an IRS is flavored with new world hops, intensifying its berry flavors and aroma while subtly introducing a juicy melon undertone. The result is a spectacularly sinful delight. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, comrade. 10.6% ABV / Escondido, CA / Availability: Limited

Southern Star 10th Anniversary Imperial IPA – Color is pale gold, with a frothy cream colored head. Nose is light pine, heavy tropical fruit, and a light caramel note. It has a pronounced, but not overwhelming bitterness. Flavor is strongly peach, tropical fruit, a hint of pine, with a dry white wine note on the finish. 9.5% ABV / Conroe, TX / Availability: Good

Prairie Deconstructed Bomb – This unique set features four bottles, each highlighting one of the main ingredients that make up Prairie’s Imperial Stout: Cacao nibs, Ancho Chili peppers, Coffee, and Vanilla. Mix them to make your own unique Bomb! 13% ABV / Tulsa, OK / Availability: Limited

Saint Arnold Icon Green – This Cryo IPA utilizes a new method of processing hops known as lupulin powder, or Cryo technology. Dry hopped with Ekuanot, Citra, and Mosaic hops, the result is an IPA with bursts of citrus and melon aroma, upfront bitterness, a medium body and balanced finish. 6.5% ABV / Houston, TX / Availability: Decent

Meridian Hive Trinity – A bold, vibrant, and delicious draft mead. They blend a triad of spices from around the world to create this uniquely refreshing drink that finishes crisp and clean. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good

Abita Hop On Juicy Pale – Packed with Cascade, Citra and Ekuanot hops to deliver refreshing tropical and citrus notes. It pours a vibrant light gold while the unique brewing process produces a distinctive haze. 6% ABV Abita Springs, LA / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Jolly Pumpkin/Jester King Gamma Deluxe – Sour Monkish-inspired IPA. This IPA pours a beautiful bright yellow with just the right amount of haze. An aroma of funky fruit tannins in the nose. Packed full of seven different hop varieties giving notes of grapefruit, touch of pineapple, light Brett characteristics, and a tannin dryness. 7.5% ABV / Dexter, MI / Availability: Limited

Jolly Pumpkin Aquamarine Dream –  Aquamarine Dream is a saison brewed with blueberry, blackberry, lime peel, and salt. The addition of the berries gives this fruit saison a beautiful hazy reddish-purple appearance. Smells of berries, blueberries, and cream fill the nose. It is tart with flavors of blueberries and blackberries that come together to create an almost boysenberry flavor with a touch of salt. 7.8% ABV / Dexter, MI / Availability: Decent

903 Kilt Switch – Wee Heavy Scotch ale – 12.9% ABV / Sherman, TX / Availability: Good SoLa Only

Bell’s Oberon – A wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer. 5.8% ABV / Galesburg, MI / BeerAdvocate 86 / Availability: Good

Clown Shoes Galacticake –  A batch of Space Cake dry hopped with Galactica’s hops. 9% ABV / Boston, MA / Availability: Decent

Lagunitas Lucky 13 Ultra-Mega-Mondo Red Ale. 8.8% ABV / Petaluma, CA / RateBeer 98 / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Left Hand Juicy Goodness – Hoppy and light with a tingly mouthfeel and fruity hop characteristics—perfect for the hophead and hop-averse. 5.5% ABV / Longmont, CO / Availability: Good

Left Hand Death Before Disco – Roasted malts create a full-bodied classic with rich chocolate malt and dark berry notes. 6% ABV / Longmont, CO / Availability: Good

Stiegl Radler – Real fruit juice gives the new Stiegl Radler a distinct, tart aroma and natural cloudiness. 2% ABV / Salzburg, Austria / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Unibroue Tout le Monde – Dry-hopped Belgian-style saison that takes its name from a track on Megadeth’s 1994 album Youthanasia, and features the group’s mascot Vic Rattlehead on the label. 4.5% ABV / Chambly, Canada / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Martin House La Cura – A sour beer based on the old Aztec drink referred to as pulque. Pulque was created in Central Mexico and relied on the fermented sap of the maguey plant to create a tart, viscous, alcoholic beverage. Their interpretation contains agave nectar, with the addition of guava puree, which makes for a slightly sweet sour beer that is both flavorful and ultimately refreshing. 6.7% ABV / Ft. Worth, TX / Availability: Good

New Beers on Draft at WhichCraft Taproom

Full Draft List Available on our Website

Meridian Hive Trinity – A bold, vibrant, and delicious draft mead. They blend a triad of spices from around the world to create this uniquely refreshing drink that finishes crisp and clean. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX

Austin Eastciders Ruby Red Grapefruit -A refreshing and slightly tart cider made with heirloom bittersweet apples, American dessert apples and Ruby Red Grapefruit from the Texas Rio Grande Valley. 5% ABV / Austin, TX

Last Stand One Too IPA – Brewed with pale malt, flaked oats, and hopped with Simcoe and Citra. This is their brewers’ favorite shift beer. 6.1% ABV / Austin, TX

Brasserie Dupont Saison Dupont – Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. 6.5% ABV / Tourpes, Hainaut Belgium
Dogfish Head Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout – Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, they’ve now taken this Dogfish Head classic and aged it on oak with real vanilla beans! With a little tender love and care, they foster this beer from smooth, sweet wort into the big, bad blackened stout it always longed to be. Its bold, port-like complexity goes great with (or as) dessert. 17% ABV / Milton, DE / RateBeer 99
Pinthouse Pizza Electric Jellyfish – Brewed with some exciting hop varieties featuring Citra, Simcoe, Azacca, and Galaxy hops, Electric Jellyfish enjoys a bright tropical citrus character along with notes of orange, lemon, lychee, and a floral backbone. The Jellyfish is a hazy, new-school IPA focusing on the juicy hop flavor and aroma while keeping the bitterness balanced and refreshing. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX / RateBeer 97
Last Stand Imperial Milk Stout – Notes of dark chocolate and roasted malt. Full body with a smooth finish. And a little extra kick. 9% ABV / Austin, TX
Zilker Galaxy Pale Ale – Galaxy, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops. 5.3% ABV / Austin, TX
Funkwerks Soursop Provincial – Soursop is an exotic fruit native to the Caribbean and Central America. It has an intimidating spiky, bright green skin, and a subtly sweet yet sour flavor. Massive amounts of soursop puree and a kiss of tangerine puree were added to this tart beer to contribute creamy tropical and bold citrus flavors. Slightly hazy and yellow in color, this beer is unlike any other Provincial they’ve brewed before! 4.2% ABV / Ft. Collins, CO
