WhichCraft Mueller is Hiring a Coffee Manager!

Are you a Coffee Nerd? Do you obsess over the body, blend and balance of each beautiful cup? Do you ever find yourself grilling your barista over how they roast their beans? Do you spell Love, J-A-V-A? If you answered yes to any of these questions then WhichCraft Beer Store needs you! As we prepare to open our second location in the Mueller development, we seek to hire a bonafide coffee expert to design, implement and run our coffee program. Qualified applicants should have coffee shop experience and some management training or management background. 6-8 pm, Our friends from Odell Brewing Co will be behind the bar to pour free tasters of Drumroll, 90 Schilling and Zard-Alu.

Saturday, July 16th

12-2 pm, Josh from Founders Brewing will be stopping by to sample out some All Day IPA, Mosaic Promise, Devil Dancer and Imperial Stout.

6-8 pm, WhichCraft Beer Store will be hosting a store tasting. Beers included in the lineup will be Stone Citrusy Wit, Twisted X Later Days, Dogfish Head Flesh & Blood and Full Sail Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine.

Tuesday, July 19th

Hodge from Oskar Blues will be in the shop to pour free samples of Dale’s Pale Ale, Mamma’s Little Yella Pils, Beerito and Pinner IPA.

Wednesday, July 20th

Tom from Avery will be joining us to let us all try their White Rascal, Perzik, Raja and Maharaja.

Adelbert’s Hibiscus Saison Cans – Brewed with hibiscus flowers and dry hopped with Citra, this ale blends a hint of tartness with notes of tropical fruit and citrus. 5.6% BAV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good

Full Sail Barrel Aged Wheatwine – Bourbon Barrel Aged Wheatwine was brewed in the Barleywine style, using 100% malted wheat and left to age in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels for 10 months. It pours a rich honey hue and opens up with complex oak aromas of vanilla and caramel blended nicely with notes of toffee, marmalade and dates. Barrel aging rounds out this big beer by adding a rich tannic structure. 12% ABV / Hood River, OR / Ratebeer 88 / Availability: Limited

Dogfish Flesh & Blood – An honest to goodness India Pale Ale brewed with a bevy of real citrus including orange peel, lemon flesh & blood orange juice. 7.5% ABV / Milton, DE / Availability: Decent

Arrogant Who You Callin’ Wussie Pilsner – A departure from the standard American lite lager. 5.8% ABV / Escondido, CA / Beeradvocate 89 / Availability: Good

Stone Citrusty Wit – Each dryly refreshing, citrusy sip of this coriander-spiced, tangerine-infused, Mandarina Bavaria-hopped creation will satisfy even the most hardcore fan. 5.3% ABV / Escondido, CA / Ratebeer 87 / Availability: Good

San Tan Lime Leaf – A‌ traditionally brewed Cream Ale jazzed up with the addition of Kaffir lime leaves. It is fermented at a colder temperature than a typical ale, giving the beer a smooth flavor and a clean finish. The addition of lime leaves, an ingredient used in Thai cuisine, provides a citrusy, herbal aroma while accentuating the beer’s refreshing character. 4.9% ABV / Chandler, AZ / Availability: Good

Karbach BBH – The brew’s rich malt character, along with chocolate and vanilla notes, make it the perfect beer to warm your toes! 75% aged in Old Forester barrels, 25% aged in Jack Daniels barrels. 10.8% ABV / Houston, TX / Ratebeer 99 / Availability: Very limited

Freetail Yo Soy Un Berliner – Pilsen malt, malted wheat; traditional German hops; top-fermenting yeast; lactobacillus; natural, limestone-filtered, Edwards Aquifer H2O; jelly-filled donuts. 4.4% ABV / San Antonio, TX / Ratebeer 92 / Availability: Good

Freetail Local Stout – A cold-brewed toddy using El Origen coffee beans from Honduras is added to the beer after fermentation; deep, rich chocolate and roast flavors from English malts combine with rich, nuanced sweetness of carefully selected coffee creates a flavor that speaks of a sunrise breakfast upon a distant mountain, or an intimate hot cup for a late night-cap. 7.7% ABV / San Antonio, TX / Ratebeer 84 / Availability: Decent

Austin Beerworks Heavy Machinery Half IPA – Light hop additions during the boil and tons of dry hopping with Centennial and Citra mean the bitterness is low, but the hop flavor and aroma are high. Made specifically for summertime in Austin. 5.6% ABV / Austin, TX / Ratebeer 92 / Availability: Limited

funkwerks Amarillo – Single hopped Imperial Saison, with a touch of pineapple juice. Amarillo hops were named for their bright yellow hop cone. Notes of grapefruit, citrus and a pineapple. 7% ABV / Fort Collins, CO / Availability: Decent
