BCBYes! Black Friday with Goose Island and Saint Arnold

Advent Calendars are still here for pickup. Come in to grab your box of holiday surprise, each including 24 different 12oz. beers (because exactly 24 beers fit in a case…coincidence?!). If you haven’t ordered one yet, we still have a few unclaimed, but we plan on selling out, so don’t miss your chance to bring home some holiday beer. Boxes are sold for $100+tax. NOTE: Shipping beers into, out of, or within Texas is prohibited by state law. So all boxes must be picked up in person (though sending a proxy is acceptable).

And of course,we’re closed on Thanksgiving. But the next day, on Black Friday, when the rest of those suckers are mobbing one another at Best Buy, you’ll be mobbing us here for two big releases: Goose Island BCBS and Saint Arnold Pumpkinator. At 5pm, we’ll be selling these bottles until we run out, so come in and stake your claim. While you’re in, enjoy a glass of either (or both) 2017 and 2018 Pumpkinator.

Finally, make sure you keep buying Live Oak 6pks all November long, too. Every 6pk they offer is on sale for $7.99 all month long. So get in here and stock your fridge.

Stone 2016 Xocoveza Charred – If you had the standard version of Xocoveza this winter you know how incredible of a spiced stout it is. Based on Mexican hot cocoa, peppers, cocoa, coffee and spices combine for a great dessert beer. This version got the bourbon barrel treatment which gave an already complex beer even more complexity and flavor intensity, layering additional caramel-like and vanilla flavors on top of those already present. Aromas of rich coffee and dark chocolate are followed by nutmeg and cinnamon a lush, heavy mouthfeel laden with charred oak and toffee engulfs the palate on the first sip. 10% ABV / Escondido, CA / RateBeer 100 / Availability: Limited

Stone Mikhail – Stone Imperial Russian Stout is a thick, rich and sinful beer that’s heavy on the palate and massively aromatic with notes of anise, black currants, coffee and roastiness. 13.5% ABV / Escondido, CA / RateBeer 99 / Availability: Limited

TUPPS Juice Pack – A juicy, hazy double-dry hopped pale ale bursting with fruit flavors. 5.5% ABV / McKinney, TX / Availability: Decent

Martin House Cranberry Crush – Cranberry sour ale. 4.2% ABV / Fort Worth, TX / Availability: Good

Goose Island Bourbon County Stout – A really big batch of stout-so big the malt was coming out of the top of the mash tun. After fermentation we brought in some bourbon barrels to age the stout. One hundred and fifty days later, Bourbon County Stout was born-A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with a thick foam the color of bourbon barrels. The nose is a mix of charred oak, vanilla, caramel and smoke. 14.7% ABV / Chicago, IL / RateBeer 100 / Availability: Very Limited

3 Nations Texas Xmas – Creme brulee stout. 8.3% ABV / Farmers Branch, TX / Availability: Decent

Gigantic Fluffy Tufts – Juicy American IPA brewed with vast amounts of Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Crystal hops. 6.3% ABV / Portland, OR / Availability: Decent

Gigantic The Deep – Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Succumb to the rich, full flavors of chocolate, caramel and espresso as you enjoy your descent into The Deep. 8% ABV / Portland, OR / Availability: Decent

Sixpoint 4Beans – Imperial porter. Flavors of dark malt, cocoa and coffee are rounded out by smooth vanilla. The result is a quadrality of roasted, savory, and complex flavors. Modern formulation meets Baltic tradition and BKLYN partnership. It’s Mad Science. 10% ABV / Brooklyn, NY / Availability: Decent

Southern Star Black Crack – Bourbon barrel aged Buried Hatchet Stout. 8.3% ABV / Conroe, TX / RateBeer 97 / Availability: Decent

Against the Grain G’Night Ryder – Imperial Black Ale. Red wine barrel aged. The Lone Crusader. No beer is above the law around here. This imperial black ale is interred in red wine barrels and emerges unrecognizable. It’s not the general, it sure ain’t the sheriff, it’s the G’night Ryder. 9% ABV / Louisville, KY / RateBeer 97 / Availability: Decent

Clown Shoes Luchador en Fuego – Their third anniversary beer up-sizes Chocolate Sombrero, using extra ancho chile and adding chipotle pepper. They aged the brew 100% in Wild Turkey and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. May it leap onto your palate majestically, like a luchador who flies into the ring from atop the highest rope. 11% ABV / Ipswich, MA / RateBeer 97 / Availability: Decent

New Beers on Draft at WhichCraft Taproom

Full Draft List Available on our Website

Anderson Valley Wild Turkey BBA Stout (Nitro) – Complexity. Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. 6.9% ABV / Boonville, CA / RateBeer 97

Founders Dirty Bastard – Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. 8.5% ABV / Grand Rapids, MI / RateBeer 97

Live Oak Primus – A dark, rich German-style Weizen beer (beer made with wheat malt) fermented with a very particular strain of brewers’ yeast that gives this beer it’s unique spicy and fruity character. The unfiltered beer has the characteristic clove and banana flavors familiar to HefeWeizen drinkers but with a darker and richer roasty malt character that is typical of some German-style Bock beers. 8% ABV / Austin, TX / RateBeer 94

Saint Arnold Pumpkinator – 2017 and 2018. Pumpkinator is a big, black, full of spice, full of flavor beer. Originally released in 2009 as Divine Reserve No. 9, it is an imperial pumpkin stout and our answer to how a pumpkin beer ought to taste. It is brewed with a combination of pale two row, caramel and black malts, Cascade and Liberty hops for a background hop flavor, pumpkin for a rich mouthfeel, molasses, brown sugar, spices and dry-spiced to make it feel like you just walked into your mom’s kitchen while she was cooking 37 pumpkin pies. 10.5% ABV / Houston, TX / RateBeer 97

Red Horn Wonderboy – It’s wondeous, the delicate and delicious balance of spicy and fruity esters in Wonder Boy Hefeweizen. This smooth, rich yet refreshing ale is our Texas twist on a favorite style. Soft white wheat, bready Munich malt, and German pilsner malts build the backbone, American Cascade hops add a unique yet subtle citrusy note, but our unique yeast blend does the heavy lifting. 5.4% ABV / Cedar Park, TX

Red Horn More Better Milkshake Dreamsicle IIPA – Some of that more better, yo. 8.3% ABV / Cedar Park, TX
