New Beers This Week

Back in Stock: Harpoon Dunkin’ Donut Porter, Spindletap 5% Tint, 5 Stones Snipe Hunter, Gigantic Sassy Pony (Arriving Friday), Independence Tangerine High Boy, Austin Eastciders Spiced Cider

Gigantic Fluffy Tufts – Juicy American IPA brewed with vast amounts of Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Crystal hops. 6.3% ABV / Portland, OR / Availability: Decent (Arriving Friday)

Gigantic The Deep – Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Succumb to the rich, full flavors of chocolate, caramel and espresso as you enjoy your descent into The Deep. 8% ABV / Portland, OR / Availability: Decent (Arriving Friday)

Lagunitas Willetized Coffee Stout – A Big, Dark, and Scary Barrel-Aged Beast. Their friends over at Kentucky’s own Willett Distillery have one kind of barrel: wood. And they put two things in them: Bourbon and Rye. Lagunitas was fortunate enough to get some of their Rye barrels, and put their Imperial Stout in them. It’s a chocolatey, coffee-y, smoky, Bourbon-y beast of a barrel-aged thing. Word. 12.6% ABV / Petaluma, CA / RateBeer 100 / Availability: Limited

Full Sail Atomized IPA – A combination of Cryo Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Ekuanot hops make this IPA ingeniously flavorful. An ultrasonic infusion method delivers enhanced aroma and flavor into this balanced, unfiltered, hoppy brew. 7% ABV / Hood River, OR / Availability: Decent

Cigar City Marshall Zhukov’s – Opaque black in color, the aroma has notes of espresso, chocolate, dark sweet toffee with hints of black strap molasses. The flavor starts with an unsweetened chocolate character and supporting notes of herbal dryness from English hop varietals. It then moves into dark toffee sweetness and closes with a slap of roasty espresso. Zhukov’s Imperial Stout pairs well with Mushroom Solyanka, dark chocolate, cherries and ground wars in Russia. 11.8% ABV / Tampa, FL / RateBeer 100 / Availability: Limited

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout – This is the famous Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, their award-winning rendition of the Imperial Stout style once made exclusively for Catherine the Great. They use three mashes to brew each batch of this beer, achieving a luscious deep dark chocolate flavor through a blend of specialty roasted malts. It is delicious when newly bottled, but also ages beautifully for years. 10% ABV / Brooklyn, NY / RateBeer 100 / Availability: Limited

Fairweather Gin Bot – Cider with gin botanicals. 6.5% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good (Arriving Friday)

Spindletap Diamonds in my Mouth DIPA – DIPA made with Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy Hops. Chunk up the deuce. 8% ABV / Houston, TX / Availability: Limited (Arriving Friday)

Ballast Point Mocha Marlin – The addition of coffee and cocoa plays perfectly of the roasty, chocolaty flavors of this English porter, while a hint of vanilla smooths it all out. It’s full-bodied, but not too sweet; try it for breakfast…or dessert. 6% ABV / San Diego, CA / RateBeer 98 / Availability: Good (Arriving Friday)

5 Stones Camo – Pale “Stout” handcrafted with espresso beans and cocao nibs. 7.8% ABV / New Braunfels, TX / RateBeer 89 / Availability: Good

NOLA Maiden Voyage – Foudre-aged saison with wild yeast. 7.9% ABV / New Orleans, LA / Availability: Good (Arriving Friday)

Champion Santa’s Cookies – Imperial Oatmeal Stout is made with real ginger and cardamom for a relaxing holiday treat. 8% ABV / Charlottesville, VA / Availability: Good (Arriving Friday)
