Beer, Coffee, and your Civic Duty

We have some fun events lined up this weekend at Mueller. Tomorrow, we welcome in Community Beer Co. for a Pint Night with their Yessir pale ale and DDH Mosaic IPA. And if you haven’t, make sure you register to vote, as we’ll have reps on hand from 5-7 during that tasting.

Then National Coffee Day is Saturday, and as we’re slight fans of caffeine, we thought we’d bring in some folks from Austin Roasting Co. to drink and talk and drink coffee. We’ll have free drip coffee from 7am-12pm, and we’ll be taking $1 off pourovers, as they’ll be bringing in their new Ethiopia Natural blend they got this week.

Join WhichCraft and The Beer Museum on Monday October 8th as we taste and learn about dark, seedy underbelly of the German beer world. Put down the Oktoberfest and explore some lesser known German beers such as Schwarzbier, Dunkelweizen, Eisbock and Doppelbock. This event will be hosted at WhichCraft Tap Room. The Beer Museum will be setting up the traveling roadshow version of the museum’s exhibits and we will dive deep into the history of these oft-maligned beers, their origins, and their brewing processes. Whichcraft’s own Certified Cicerone Chuck Stephens will also provide in-depth knowledge about the ingredients used in each beer and tasting techniques. Get tickets here.

And remember to continue picking up 6pks of Tupps at our Mueller location. We’re offering their IPA, Citra Pale Ale, and American Wheat for $5.99 for the last few days of September. Which means it’s time for a new Brewery of the Month, and we have a good’un for October: 4th Tap! Starting October 1st, pick up 6pks of their +2 Vitality blonde, Can You Dig It amber, and Kung Fu Robot IPA for $5.99.
