Einhorn with Syrups, Yo…

We have some big events happening his week at the Tap Room, folks. First, tonight (Thursday, 8/9), we’ll be sampling ABW’s Einhorn mit Schuss. That means “with syrup!” Einhorn with various syrups! Don’t miss it. Then, on Friday at both locations, we’re premiering a new bottle from a new brewery to Austin: B-52 Brewery. At 6pm, we’ll be releasing their Summer Wardrobe hazy IIPA. It’ll go quick, so show up early and pick up a single or 4-pack.

And of course, keep picking up 6 packs of our August BotM: Brazos Valley Brewing. All month long, we’ll be offering their Mama Tried IPA, Willin’ Mosaic Pale, 7 Spanish Angels, and Two-Step Pils for…$5.99. Holy cow!

Finally, you always wanted to work at your favorite local bottle shop: talking beer, selling beer, and sometimes sampling said beer? Now’s your chance! We’re looking for someone – or someones – to work part-time at both of our locations. Prior retail experience is helpful, though not necessary, but you must have a love of beer (and coffee) and be helpful, outgoing, and willing to learn. Email resumes to jody [at] whichcraftbeerstore.com.

Nothing captures the spirit of celebration like a beer among friends. 6% ABV / Chico, CA / Availability: Good

8th Wonder Haterade – This refreshingly tart beer has a beautiful peachy aroma with a sour & salty citrus kick that finishes with a clean wheat flavor. 4.3% ABV / Houston, TX / Availability: Decent

Uncultured Ales Roscoe – Roscoe is a mature light golden oak barrel aged sour beer, fermented with naturally occurring yeast and bacteria from the Austin area. To achieve the desired flavor profile, the beer usually ferments for 6 months or more. Once it is ready, which they determine by tasting, it is dry hopped with Simcoe hops and packaged. 7.8% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent (Arriving to Mueller Saturday)

Uncultured Ales FM 642 – FM 642 is a mature, barrel aged sour brown ale, fermented with naturally occurring wild yeast and bacteria from the Austin area. The darker malts used in this beer give it a heavier malty flavor and bitterness that complements the tartness that develops over the long oak barrel fermentation. 7.9% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent (Arriving to Mueller Saturday)

Uncultured Ales 50 Points – 50 Points begins as a mature light golden oak barrel aged sour beer, fermented with naturally occurring wild yeast and bacteria in the Austin area. This second use of fruit produces more subtle fruit flavor and color. 6.7% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent (Arriving to Mueller Saturday)

New Beers on Draft at WhichCraft Taproom

Full Draft List Available on our Website

Moontower Pomme Blush – Off dry, tart and lightly effervescent, Pomme Blush is a blend of culinary apples from the Northwest, Orange Muscat and Ruby Cabernet grapes from the Texas High Plains, and is a superlative complement to Texas’ warm weather. 6.2% ABV / Austin, TX

Firestone Walker C-Hops – Made with the C-hops: Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, CTZ & Cashmere, this incredibly easy drinking Pale Ale has a balanced malt backbone with an abundance of citrus, grapefruit & pineapple notes. 6% ABV / Paso Robles, CA / RateBeer 91
Zilker Heavenly Daze – This heavily dry hopped IPA has loads of Mosaic Powder, Citra Hops, and Simcoe Powder. This hop blend is best described Dank Citrus. 6.8% ABV / Austin, TX
Austin Beerworks Einhorn – Low alcohol, decidedly tart, incredibly refreshing. And more fun than water. 3% ABV / Austin, TX / RateBeer 90
Martin House Cherry Limeade –  It’s brewed with cherry puree and lime juice. The cherries give it that beautiful pink hue and slight sweetness while the limes add some citrus and tartness on the backend. It’s the perfect summertime brew. Fans of True Love, Reverie, and our other sour beers will approve! 4.2% ABV / Fort Worth, TX
Epic Big Bad Baptista – Inspired by traditional Mexican coffee, Café de Olla, which is served with cinnamon and piloncillo, an unrefined sugar. The Cinnamon adds another layer of complexity and accentuates the earthy character of Mexican Coffee, but more importantly, it captures the essence of a place and its culture. As beverage geeks we wanted to pay homage to that rich tradition and offer our unique take. Big Bad Baptista is a combination of Vanilla, Cinnamon, Mexican coffee roasted by Blue Copper, and Solstice Chocolate cacao nibs. It’s luxurious to say the least, with a pleasant warming sensation generated by the cinnamon and alcohol. Enjoying the interplay of chocolate, malt, oak, and spice is the perfect way to spend a cool evening, with friends around a fire.  11.9% ABV / Salt Lake City, UT / RateBeer 100
Ayinger Celebrator – Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish. 6.7% ABV / Bavaria, Germany / RateBeer 100
Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin Nitro – A decadent Oatmeal Stout brimming with cocoa and espresso aromas. This beer features a rich, dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor with a creamy mouth feel and wonderfully dry finish. The addition of U.S. grown fuggles hops contributes the perfect amount of bitterness to this exceptionally balanced beer. 5.5% ABV / Paso Robles, CA / RateBeer 97
