Last Stand Fuzzieluscious…And We Got It!

We welcome in our August Brewery of the Month to Mueller on Friday, 8/17, to sample their Double Willin’ and Two Step on tap, along with Double Willin’ and Millions of Peaches in package. Don’t miss it. Or if Lamar is more your thing on Friday, we’ll have Left Hand sampling their Peach Beerlini, Blackcurrant Nitro, and Juicy Goodness. Don’t worry, we got you covered at both locations.

And of course, keep picking up 6 packs of said Brewery of the Month. All month long, we’ll be offering their Mama Tried IPA, Willin’ Mosaic Pale, 7 Spanish Angels, and Two-Step Pils for…$5.99. Holy cow!

Next, see that picture and headline above? That would Last Stand’s Fuzzieluscious, their new NEIPA, and we’re (mostly) the only game in town carrying it. Nyah nyah! So if you want to get your hands on this juiciness, get to either location now. Now! And it’s also the return of 5 Stones Shepherd Boy. Man oh man, it’s a hazy day at WhichCraft.

Finally, you always wanted to work at your favorite local bottle shop: talking beer, selling beer, and sometimes sampling said beer? Now’s your chance! We’re looking for someone – or someones – to work part-time at both of our locations. Prior retail experience is helpful, though not necessary, but you must have a love of beer (and coffee) and be helpful, outgoing, and willing to learn. Email resumes to jody [at] whichcraftbeerstore.com.

Austin Eastciders Spiced Cider – Made with a mixture of sweet and zesty spices including cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves, this cider is slightly spicy with a smooth and sweet finish. 5% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Good

Lagunitas Super Cluster – This out-of-this-world ale is a galactic blast from the glass, a Citra supernova in the sky, jettisoning lupulin lusciousness through the cosmos and across the universe of your palate. Enter its bitter orbit and we’ll all float on, okay? 8% ABV / Petaluma, CA / RateBeer 92 / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Last Stand Fuzzieluscious – A hazy & juicy IPA packed with fruity flavors and aromas. 6% ABV / Austin, TX / Availability: Decent

Dogfish Head Punkin’ Ale – Punkin’ Ale is a full-bodied, spiced brown ale brewed with baked pumpkins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. 7% ABV / Milton, DE / RateBeer 82 / Availability: Decent / SoLa Only

Martin House Saturday IPA – Saturday IPA is the follow up to their year-round brew, Friday IPA. It’s lower on the IBU scale but is a bit boozier with a heavier mouthfeel. Saturday’s hops include: Mandarina Bavaria, Zythos, and Hull Melon. As you would assume, these select hops give this brew the perfect touch of citrus. To compliment the hops, they also added 200lbs of blood orange puree which completes this fruity 8% ABV IPA. 8% ABV / Fort Worth, TX / Availability: Decent

Bell’s Best Brown – A smooth, toasty brown ale with hints of caramel and cocoa, the malt body has the depth to stand up to cool weather, but does not come across as heavy. This balancing act is aided by the generous use of American hops. 5.8% ABV / Comstock, MI / RateBeer 89 / Availability: Decent

Bell’s Oktoberfest – A coppery amber lager that showcases a full bodied, malty flavor that is balanced by a refreshing bitterness derived from fine noble hops. 5.7% ABV / Comstock, MI / Availability: Good
