Rare Beer Weekend at WhichCraft Starts Tonight with Jester King Tasting Lead by Jeff Stuffings! Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 14 Release Tomorrow!

WhichCraft Beer Store is excited to  be hosting a special Jester King Brewing Company Tasting, guided by Founder and Owner Jeff Stuffings. Since its creation six years ago, Jester King has established itself as a hallmark of the Austin beer community. They pride themselves on their diverse selection of authentic farmhouse beers, including highly sought after barrel aged fruit sours. They also remain an active participant in Texas beer legislation, supporting the effort to expand the distribution of out of state breweries to the Texas market. During this free event Jeff Stuffings will guide customers through a tasting of Noble king 2014, El Cedro, Das Uberkind and Omniscience & Proselytism. We will also have bottles of Wytchmaker and Gotlandsdricka available for purchase. Because of limited availability, none of the four beers featured in the tasting will be available for retail purchase.

This Saturday, June 24th, WhichCraft Beer Store will be receiving its shipment of Saint Arnold’s Bishop’s Barrel No. 14. The Bishop’s Barrel series features beers that have been aged in a variety of barrels which are selected to enhance and compliment the character of the underlying beer. Batch No. 14 is a Russian Imperial Stout which has been aging for nearly a year in Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels. More information on the Bishop’s Barrel series and on batch No. 14 can be found on the Saint Arnold website. To celebrate the release of this highly anticipated beer, we have invited our good friend Mary from Saint Arnold to guide a special tasting.
