Stroopwafels are Coming to WhichCraft Tap Room.. Fun to Say, FUN to Eat! Lots of New Beer This Week.

WhichCraft Tap Room in Mueller will be hosting Stroop Club ATX for a special pop-up sampling tomorrow, January 20th from 4-7pm. During this free event, Chantal will be serving up free samples of Stroopwafels to WhichCraft Customers. Stroopwafels are flat, waffle-like cookies that can trace their origin back to 7th century Norse culture. The ‘Stroop’ is a traditional Dutch, caramel-like syrup that holds two of these flat waffles together. These Stroopwafels pair wonderfully with a hot cup of coffee, but we’ve got a sneaky feeling that you’ll enjoy them just as much with a frosty pint of beer. So join us tomorrow and enjoy these truly unique treats. To learn more about Stroop Club please visit their website.

There’s still time to grab tickets for WhichCraft Tap Room’s first Beer and Coffee Pairing event featuring Wicked Weed and Austin Roasting Company. Join us during two sessions on Saturday, January 28th, as we explore the characteristics of six different beers fromWicked Weed Brewing in North Carolina and compare them with that of single origin coffees from Austin Roasting Company. The beer aspect of the pairing will include five fruited sours: Montmaretto, La Bonte, Brettaberry, Marina & Medora; and one Barrel aged stout: Dark Age. The coffee side will feature four different expressions of single origin coffee drinks, inducing cold brew, iced pour over, hot pour over and espresso. Sessions will last between sixty and ninety minutes, and will begin at 1pm and 3pm. Only twenty tickets will be sold for each session so act fast! To purchase tickets and learn more about this pairing, please visit our Eventbrite page.

Oskar Blues Deviant Dale’s – This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. Oskar Blues Goodknight – A hefty, dry hopped double-red ale with a nose full of aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors. G’Knight sports a surprisingly sensuous finish for a beer of its size. 8.7% ABV / Longmont, CO / Ratebeer 99 / Availability: Good / SoLa Only

Oskar Blues BA Ten Fidy – Aged through four seasons and from a blend of the top Bourbons around, this Ten Fidy has morphed into a monster of cranked up flavor.
